In this conversation, Laura shares insights from her new book, Discovering Dyscalculia: One Family’s Journey with a Math Disability, which was inspired by her own family’s journey of getting her daughter’s diagnosis, how they navigated working with the school, and finding strategies that work for her beyond her education. Laura’s passion is to provide advocacy, coaching, and encouragement for overwhelmed parents and discouraged children who feel alone in their journey with dyscalculia. My guest is Laura Jackson, a mom, writer, and advocate who helps families struggling with dyscalculia move from confusion and overwhelm to understanding and connection. Please be sure to subscribe to my email/newsletter list in order to receive notification of all upcoming events, tours, announcements and future reading availability. I am excited to announce, however, that in order to reach a higher volume of people, I will be doing workshops, teaching you how you can open to your own intuitive, psychic & mediumistic abilities, as well as large group gallery reading events, psychic/spiritual development classes and speaking engagements in the coming year throughout the country (and possibly abroad). I have found that if I try to do too many readings back to back, I end up ill – and that would make the wait even longer – so your patience and understanding is truly appreciated! Doing a reading feels like the “energetic equivalent” of running a 5K to me it zaps my energy and I need some time to re-energize between readings. This is in order to honor my process and give each reading my full energy. I am honored and humbled to have a high volume of clients and while I wish I could read for everyone immediately, the fact is, I cannot energetically do more than a few readings per week. This is because my current wait list is years long at the moment. Due to the overwhelmingly enthusiastic response for readings, I am no longer able to add new clients and have had to close my wait list.
